Every Monday Luxor/Aswan/Luxor
Day 1 (Monday) Embarkation before lunch. Overnight in Luxor
Day 2 (Tuesday) AM: Visit the Ancient Theban Necropolis in the west bank of Luxor to see the Valley of the Kings where more than 60 of Egypt Pharaohs have their resting place carved out of the mountain cliffs.
Medinet Habu, the Mortuary Temple of Ramses III which is one of the last great buildings of the Egyptian monumental architecture of the New Kingdom.
The Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the funerary Temple of Amenophis III.
PM: Navigation to Esna and overnigh.
Day 3 (Wednesday) AM: Navigation to Kom Ombo. Visit Kom Ombo Temple the only double Temple in Egypt shared by the crocodile headed God Sobek and the falcon headed God Haroeiris.
Navigation to Aswan and overnight.
Day 4 (Thursday) AM: Visit the High Dam & temple of Philae. PM: Sailing around Aswan Islands in the traditional felucca (sailing boat) viewing the Agha Khan Mausoleum and the Botanical Garden (Kitchner Island).
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 5 (Friday) AM: Free at leisure or have the optional excursion to Abu Simbel to visit the overwhelming Temples of Ramses II which were cut from their hillside origin in 1960 and repositioned in their new home above the waterline of the newly created "Lake Nasser"
PM: Navigation to Kom Ombo and overnight
Day 6 (Saturday) AM: Navigation to Edfu PM: Visit the most well preserved Temple in Egypt dedicated to the Falcon God Horus. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 7 (Sunday) AM: Visit the fabulous Luxor Temple and the enormous Temple complex of Karnak. Among its splendours is the Hypostyle Hall , the largest of any temple in the world covering an area of 5356 sq. meters with its roof blocks supported by 134 colossal columns 70 feet high.
PM: At leisure and overnight in Luxor.
Day 8 (Monday) Disembarkation after breakfast.
